To work with and through individuals, families, and communities to improve the health, economic wellbeing, and social development of vulnerable rural and urban populations across Uganda.
Our Goals
ICODI exists to create lasting positive change in the lives of people and communities by focusing on the following long term goals:
- To improve health standards and overall social wellbeing among vulnerable rural and urban communities through inclusive and community driven approaches.
- To strengthen food security and household incomes, reducing poverty and malnutrition in underserved populations.
- To expand access to education, skills development, and lifelong learning for children, youth, and adults in disadvantaged communities.
Our Objectives
To achieve these goals, ICODI is committed to the following objectives:
- To promote improved health outcomes through prevention, early diagnosis, and access to quality health services.
- To design and implement programs that increase food production, nutrition, and sustainable livelihoods for vulnerable households.
- To reduce illiteracy and improve learning outcomes by supporting education, youth development, and skills training.
- To generate and use research, data, and community feedback to guide program design, learning, and continuous improvement.
